Christmas Counting…

01 Dec

A student from my class presented me with this excellent wooden carved Christmas tree. It is displayed in the class and the numbers can be manually changed each day for the countdown. We have sat it on the window sill by the classroom door.
Being the 1st of December I found myself reminiscing of my time in Canada, particularly this month back in 2004. The falling of snow and the genuine feel of Christmas in the air. Although the sun was shining in our window today, I added a faded effect to the pic in ‘Camera+’. Coupled with the paper display and blobs of blu tac on the window behind, now I can see snow falling behind our class Christmas tree. If only…

Note: The tree reads ’24’ as the pic was taken as the students were leaving and one had already changed the number in preparation for tomorrow.
