Old Construction Of Memories

20 Aug

P1925

When I traveled one of the things that I began to appreciate was the size and scale of old churches and chapels. Not being religiously inclined, the care and grandiose of the buildings still really blew me away.
On a whim, some close cousins made a last minute sojourn down the highway to spend some time with us this evening (after some dear friends had just departed). A few beers, some laughs and trips down memory lane. In between, we all snuck up the road together to get pizzas and idled by the old, local church for a mere moment. In the chilly dark it seemed to reach out and stand tall in the old village. For a small moment…I could have been anywhere in the world.
