Side View Setting

03 Aug

We’ve had some unnaturally warm weather since the beginning of the week. A strange little oasis of warmth that will be followed by bitter winds and rain come the weekend. Victorian winters only let you off so much. Yet due to the clear skies, a deep orange sunset was apparent in the mirrors as I made the pilgrimage home along side the other beings. With some HDR and increase in the red scale I think I’ve got close to the naked eye experience.
I did pull over to the side of the road for this shot and yes…it did take some time to get back out amongst the fray. I wonder if an ant finds it difficult to rejoin the march after it wanders off track for a lone crumb. And is he as anxious as some of us about the slog and the rat race?
