Old Spires

12 Jul

P1595

Today’s pic was taken to try and utilise some depth of field. I snuck into the town centre today for one of the rare times. As I drove through town, the tops of buildings became a focus for me (as well as the road). The upper half of most of the town’s buildings still possess the original construction or at least a facade with a likeness. I guess most cities and towns have these types of examples. If you focus on these parts of the buildings for a small time, you can almost imagine what it was like way back.
This shot was taken from the top of a car park looking back up from the bay. The church spire is possibly one of the oldest and tallest constructions in this area. It can be seen from afar.
